The Power of Women Who Stand Tall Together
While there’s many forms of magic in the world, I’ve come to believe the friendship between women is one of the most rewarding and fulfilling gifts we can have.
When women come together, trust one another and support one another, there’s an immense power that is born. By nature, women are nurturing and loyal beings. These traits are what help us form a deep level of understanding and intimacy.
I started my career as a hair stylist, where I spoke with countless women on a daily basis about life, love and loss. Outside of work, I always had my go-to girls, who came to me for advice or were there to lend an ear.
As a result, the connections formed through my job and personal life have provided me with a great sense of empowerment and adoration for female bonds.
It’s through this inspiration that I came to write my book, Can We Be Friends?, where I focus on the dynamics of female friendships and how these relationships can shape so much of who we are and our life as a whole.
Now, more than ever, we need the love and support of our friends. We need to feel unity and security. And while we can find these things through a variety of relationships and endeavors, there’s undoubtedly something to be said about the beauty of women picking each other up and standing tall together.
